Kathmandu November 01, 2010-President Ram Baran Yadav is returning to Nepal today after completing a six-day friendly visit to China.
He left for China to attend the closing ceremony of Shanghai Expo 2010 leading a 17-member Nepali delegation on October 26.
In addition to attending the Expo, President Yadav also met heads of states of various countries and top Chinese officials during the trip.
Reports say, President Yadav reiterated Nepal’s One China policy at a meeting with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao on Sunday.
The Chinese premier suggested President Yadav to sort out the problems in Nepal through consensus among political parties, it is learnt.
President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav visits the Nepal Pavilion at the Shanghai. He observed the pavilions of Nepal and other countries installed at the Expo.
Tourism minister Sharat Singh Bhandari, foreign ministry officials and the President’s advisors and aides accompanied him to China.
President Yadav will arrive with delegation by a China Air flight at 9.15 pm, Monday.
