OCT 29, 2011 SYANGJA, Nepal – Nepal as it is celebrating Nepal Tourism Year, Organizing various events to promote Nepal’s flora and fauna to the world, The third national festival and Kali Gandaki river festival is going to be organised from November 6-8 with a view to develop the Kali Gandaki valley in an integrated way and promote adventure tourism.
The festival aims to bringing the shadowed Kali Gandaki to the national and international notice through a “save Kali Gandaki” mission, said Dr Buddhi Man Shreshta, chairman of Kali Gandaki Integrated Development Center, The main organizer of the festival.
District Development Committee and District Tourism Development Centre as well as Kuwakot and Chapakot VDCs of Syangja are also the other organizers of the event, promoted by Nepal Tourism Board.
“We are working for an all-round development of the Kali Gandaki region spreading over 36 VDCs of Syangja, Palpa, Tanahun and Nawalparasi districts,” said Dr Shrestha.
Various committees have been formed at home and abroad to make the three-day festival a success.
Kaligandaki Valley is regarded the deepest George in the world and one of the most exiting and adventurous white water rafting that any rafters can do in their life time.
