Plane goes missing in North Carolina

23 April 2019, North Carolina – A Private Plane flew by Owner’s friend goes missing soon after take off from a Regional Airport in North Carolina.
According to Daily news, A plane took off from Statesville Regional Airport in North Carolina Monday morning and never came back down.

The plane departed around 9 a.m. and was supposed to land about 15 minutes later at the Twin Lakes Airport in Davie County, Statesville police confirmed to the Daily News.

The owner of the plane, who had let a friend fly it, was supposed to pick up the pilot in Davie County and bring him back to Statesville, but the plane never landed.

Private pilots and the Civil Air Patrol have launched a search, but the plane had not been located by around 7 p.m.

The Statesville police told The News that the plane is not considered stolen. Search and rescue operation underway and still unknown about the situation.
