MAY 10,2012, KATHMANDU – Irresponsible media reports sometime creates enormous panic to the public panic and rumors always hurts.

The purported news report that an aircraft that left from Janakpur crashed has turned out to be hoax as the Air Traffic Control Tower officials denied such reports.

According to ATCT in Kathmandu, all the planes that left from Janakpur have landed in safely in the Tribhuvan International Airport.

The false news spread after a private television channel broadcasted the news.

The report claimed that the plane made last contact with the airport from Kapurthakur, of Sindhuli district.

Our Biratnagar correspondent Lila Ballav Ghimire also confirmed quoting local police officials that there was no such report.
