President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has called upon the political parties to focus on completing the constitution-drafting and the peace process on time.

Inaugurating the industrial fair in Parasi on Tuesday, President Yadav said the current transitional phase should not be prolonged and that the parties and the Constituent Assembly members need to be active in writing the statute within the stipulated time and bring the peace process to its conclusion.

“The politics of weapons should end once and for all,” he said, adding, “The parties should work towards institutionalising the republican system achieved through the sacrifices of the people.”
