Model Khusbu Oli Contesting next election from Jhapa

Actors, Actress, Civil Servants and many individuals are now focusing on upcoming election to be held on November 20 to be elected as member of the parliament and raise their voice and govern the country. In this line many controversial personalities are also shown interest and actively involved to nominate their names within their party.

Model and so called social worker Khushbu Oli, who was once considered close to UML president KP Sharma Oli, has been recommended as a single candidate for the House of Representatives election from Jhapa Region-4 after joining RPP.

Oli, who gained popularity after wining miss teen beauty pageant in 2000 and modeling for some time, came into the limelight due to her love affair with Dinesh Adhikari ‘Chari’, who was killed in a police encounter.

Some time ago, she was convicted in a check bounce (dishonor) case. Kathmandu District Court sentenced Oli to 3 months imprisonment.

Oli, who studied political science at Oxford University in Wales, was unanimously recommended for the House of Representatives directly from Jhapa Constituency No. 4.

RPP President Rajendra Lingden brought her into the party and given the task of the central trainer of RPP on May 15, 2022.
