13 October 2014 – KATHMANDU – Lack of road safety, thousands of vehicles in narrow road and irresponsible drivers in the road has always cause an accident and kill people unnecessary in Nepal. Almost everyday we hear the traffic jams, cross road accidents and hit and run cases in busy office hours in and out of city.

According to the news sources, a passenger bus overturn killed 3 people and injured over a dozen people in Kathmandu today afternoon.

Three persons were killed when an over-speeding passenger bus overturned and crushed four motorcycles at Bijulibazaar in Babarmahal on Monday evening.

The bus (Ba 1 Kha 8676) crushed four motorcycles (Ba 32 Pa 2376, Ba 56 Pa 3538, Ba 37 Pa 1639, Ba 65 Pa 3698) killing three persons traveling on the motorcycles. The identity of the deceased has not been confirmed.

Six others were injured in the accident. They have been rushed to Civil Hospital in Minbhawan for treatment. The condition of one person injured in the accident is said to be critical.
