Four persons were killed in Janakpur Bomb Blast

APR 30, 2012 JANAKPUR РAs Nepali Political Parties and its Leaders are busy setting up the basement to form a consensus which could end the whole peace process  and draft a new constitution for the Federal Republic, some fringe organizations who themselves claims Nationalist are disturbing by attacking political leaders, blasting bombs in various public areas and threatening civil with unrealistic agendas.

As in today’s attempt Four persons were killed and eight others injured when a bomb went off at Ramanand Chowk of Janakpur on Monday. The blast occurred at around 10 this morning while the members of Mithili State Struggle Committee were staging a peaceful sit-in to press their demand for Mithila state in the new constitution.

The deceased have been identified as Bimal Saran, Ranju Jha, Suresh Upadhyay and Jhagaru Mandal of Janakpur Mucipality-8, police informed. Saran died on the spot and the other breathed their last while undergoing treatment in the hospital.

Eyewitnesses said that a motorcycle (Ja 2 Pa 9395) exploded shortly after an unidentified man parked the bike on the western side of the road nearby the sit-in venue. The red colour bike of Hero Honda Company was completely damaged in the accident.

The struggle committee has been staging phase-wise protests for the last four days. Locals arrested a person on suspicion of this involvement in the blast and handed him over to the police.

Those injured critically have been taken to the Capital for treatment, whereas others have been undergoing treatment at Janakpur Zonal Hospital and BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.

Meanwhile, tension reign in Janakpur hospital as the locals became angry saying that there were no doctors when the injured were taken to the hospital. A brief clash ensued between the locals and police.
