22 APRIL 2014 Rome, ITALY – Long awaited, rumored and celebrated Indian film industry duo finally got married in Italy in a special gathering of family members and close friends.
Long-time couple, YRF boss Aditya Chopra and actress Rani Mukerji got married in Italy on Monday night. An official statement released by YRF says ‘We are happy to announce that Mr. Aditya Chopra and Ms. Rani Mukerji got married last night on 21st April in Italy. The wedding was a very small intimate affair with very close family and friends.”
The couple has been dating for years, though they never came out in public to acknowledge their relationship. An official statement from Rani Mukerji said, “I would like to share the happiest day of my life with all my fans all over the world whose love and blessings have been part of my journey all these years. I know that all my well-wishers who have waited for this day will be really happy for me.
It was a beautiful wedding in the Italian countryside with just a few of our close family and friends with us. The one person I missed terribly was Yash Uncle, but I know he was there with us in spirit and his love and blessings will always be with Adi and me. finally, there’s clarity on the relationship status of Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukerji. The Yash Raj Films (YRF) head honcho and actress exchanged vows in a small affair held in Italy Monday, said an official announcement.
“We are happy to announce that Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukerji got married last night. The wedding was a very small intimate affair with very close family and friends,” Rafiq Gangjee, vice president (marketing and communications), YRF, said in a statement.
”We wish the couple a very happy married life,” Gangjee added. For Aditya, who is the elder son of late filmmaker Yash Chopra, it is his second marriage. He was earlier married to Payal Khanna.
