02 MAY 2015 KATHMANDU – It is too late to finalize the urgent supplied to those who have lost their everything but finally government has come up with an immediate relief fund to the villages to rescue and provide basic needs for the Earthquake victims around the country. It is very insufficient amount as compare to the needs of the people but somehow it should reach to the village as soon as possible.
According to the News reports, The government is set to grant Rs 900,000 each to the quake-affected 253 VDCs in five districts.
Ministry of Federal Affairs and Local Development (MoFALD) is distributing the assistance amount in line with the ‘Quake Affected Area-focused Immediate Relief Assistance Operational Procedure-2072 BS’.
The government has come up with the immediate relief package of Rs 900,000 each in 253 VDCs of Sindhupalchowk, Gorkha, Nuwakot, Rasuwa and Dhading.
Likewise, the Ministry is extending grant assistance of Rs 450,000 each to 242 VDCs of Lalitpur, Kavre, Dolakaha, Ramechhap and Sindhuli districts among other quake-ravaged area. The Ministry has also directed the municipalities and VDCs of the concerned districts to spend the amounts in their accounts for rescuing and relieving quake survivors. Most of the villages in Nepal has lack of manpower to deliver such relief materials as all the young people are away from country and political disputes are existing and many are not even ready to help even they are able to do so.
We hope Nepal would be rebuild and all the international community stay with us and work together to eliminate our pain for sometime.
