Riyadh Saudi Arabia July 12 2010-One of the largest Job market in the gulf region for Low profile South Asian workers, Saudi Arabia is strict in their migrant rule and one of the most secular islamic Kingdom in the region, At least 15 Nepali job aspirants, who reached Saudi Arabia looking for overseas employment, have been stranded there for long time online news agencies reported on Monday.
The aspirants, who reached there last week, through Kathmandu-based Shikhar International Manpower Service, have been rendered helpless as they did not get the service and facilities stated before flying to the overseas job.
The report also states that they have contacted Employment Forum and requested them to make arrangements to bring them back to Nepal.
Those aspirants facing such problem are Shiva Bahadur Karki, Iswor Bhandari, Mukta Bahadur Mahat, Bal Krishna Poudel, Lakpa Singh Ghising, Tanka Prasad Poudel, Tek Bahadur Bhujel, among others.
Due to lack of Government survillence, effective migrant rule and corrupted government officials in Nepal such incident is just an example that nepalese faced in foreign country. Almost all Manpower suppliers in Nepal are prefere working illegally and cheating poor young job seekers with million dollar dream always end at the dessert or with very low wedges in Gulf countries.
