Nepal win ICC WCL Div 5 finals by beating US by five wickets

KATHMANDU, Feb 27 -Kathmandu Nepal,
Hosts Nepal ended their Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Division 5 campaign in style, stealing 5-wicket victory against the US on Saturday.

Nepali batsmen Gyanendra Malla and Mehboob Alam’s unbeaten 35 runs partnership sealed the game in Nepal’s favour with 20 balls remaining to play.With today’s victory, Nepal took revenge against the US who defeated them in the last match of league by five wickets at the same ground yesterday.Both the teams have already been promoted to the Division 4 yesterday.

In today’s game played at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, Nepal successfully chased the victory target of 173 runs in 46.04 overs with five wickets in hand.
