June 13, 2012 Bhaktapur – Students claimed it an Iron gate to cross, Nepal’s Ministry of Education, The Office of the Controller of Examinations (OCE), Sanothimi has published the results of the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examinations held from March 20-29, 2012.
A total of 47.16 percentages of students have passed the exams under regular category and 13.17 percent have passed the exams under exempted category. However, OCE had earlier said that it is making preparations for declaring the SLC results within the third week of June.
The results announced today are available online with various websites, students can view the results on: www.nepalee.com, www.moe.gov.np; www.doe.gov.np, http://slc.ntc.net.np.
A total of 528,257 candidates, including 445,974 in the regular stream and 82,283 in the exempted stream, appeared in the SLC examinations this year.
Weeks of strike and other closures of school during the academic calendar has always made students to suffer. Many part of Nepal is still not receiving their textbook in time to continue their education as their colleagues are in cities had already finished some 25 percents of their academic curriculum.
