In our society children are being abused in home, school and by the community in a whole as a teacher who suppose to teach the future of the nation took control and rape a minor, then to who we should trust?
According to the news report, On Saturday, the seven-year-old girl’s parents, both laborers, lodged a complaint after she broke down and narrated how she was sexually assaulted.
The police have arrested the principal of a private school in Chikhli town of Navsari district in south Gujarat for allegedly molesting and raping a poor Class II girl after she did not pay her fees for several months. Purshowttam Daya (37), who is married and has a son, has been booked for rape and molestation besides charges under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
The girl, who was taken to a hospital in Surat for medical examination of her injuries, told the woman cops there that the principal first publicly scolded her for not paying her fees for the past six months and then dragged her to his room on the school campus even as other students raised eyebrows. According to the complaint, even as she kept sobbing, the man took her inside the toilet and molested her.
In recent days, young girls are victimized in various cases and in this particular case, being a poor does not mean to suffer whatever comes to a person or a child is not even to be known about the financial condition of their parents, school like this one, private could have sponsored the girl for her small fees too.
